The ORCID and DataCite Interoperability Network (ODIN) project team is pleased to invite you to join their latest technical webinar.

WHAT: A webinar showcasing the latest tools building on ORCID and DataCite Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) and connections between them.
There will be demos and presentations from members of the ODIN team, including:

Job opportunity: DataCite is looking for a Technical Officer

The Technical Officer leads all technology development and operations for DataCite and is responsible for all DataCite technical components as well as developing future technical concepts.

In addition, the Technical Officer will act as contact for working on technical aspects with the DataCite community, clients (data centres), end-users, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the electronic scholarly communications environment as well as significant experience with metadata.

10th Anniversary of minting DOI for data

DataCite registers its 3 millionth DOI name!

At the end of March 2014 DataCite registered its 3 millionth DOI.

The registered dataset with the DOI 10.5517/CCPHZ37 is a crystal structure from the The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) in the United Kingdom.

DataCite has registered more than 3.2 million DOIs so far. You can always find the latest number in our stats page.
